27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Yahweh misses nothing. He is perfect and so is His knowledge. Our God is completely aware of everything. There is nothing hidden to the One Who knows every heart. He sees our decisions before they are made. And even though the full knowledge of God remains much too high for us, there is absolutely no mystery when it comes to His knowledge of us.
He knows what we have need of the most- His "power." What kind of power? Power that elevates us, spiritual power- supernatural power. Yahweh is the Eternal Source of what we need and desire. As you will see, if we receive that power, we have it all. There's nothing we can muster to produce this higher life. God has designed it to where there is only one way to reach it. When it comes down to it, God is the only One we can depend on to sustain us. The way we receive this power is only by faith.
These are the kinds of ideas one develops when we allow ourselves to be controlled by circumstances. Ordinarily, we tend to focus on the negative aspect of our circumstances. We start to panic, grasping for an earthly fix. There's another way, which is higher and totally different.
Understand, God is not only aware of every circumstance, He is in control. At the same time, God is only concerned with Jacob/Israel's awareness of His attention. That's what sets this all up. Faith is our heightened awareness of God's attention. He sees you, He sees everything; He's living in you. In addition, He is Omnipresent (everywhere) and Omniscient (all-knowing).
The more aware you are of God's attention, the more you will concentrate on living for Him. You see things more clearly and notice things you've never seen before. You begin to make sense of how your life has brought you to the place you are now. So what will it be, continue on in mundane familiarity, or begin a new, higher life of knowing you are being watched over by God?
Why do we allow circumstances to become so difficult? Because we approach them from a low, carnal perspective, not being ever-mindful that God is your Protector and Provider- your Supply. He knows you inside and out. He can see you thru to greater heights.
What do we do when we know someone is watching us? We either get nervous and blow it, or we seize the opportunity. Why not recognize God is watching over you because He wants you to be somebody for Him?! Begin listening for God today, and see a much greater tomorrow.
We cannot exhaust the wisdom of God. But thank God we can possess it and live on a much higher plain. Confidence in someone begins by knowing they care. Who cares for us more than God? Who deserves more of our confidence?! Until we understand this, faith will allude us. Once you're 'all in,' you are more willing to believe what the Scriptures have to say specifically about God's great power. This fills our hearts with wonder for instance, when we look at the attention to detail God gave everything in His creation. This should raise our confidence in His love and concern for us.
Realize, God knows all there is to know about you, even before circumstances arrive. Therefore, we are absolute fools if we think as Israelites we can just exist without believing in God. God created everything for His own pleasure including you. The way to please Him is for us to believe.
It's the reasoning ability of our carnal minds that we allow to keep us down, preventing us from approaching faith. Never question God's intelligence and ability. Never allow what you do not understand to keep you from believing. Expect the clouded elements of your understanding to be wiped clean as you learn more of God's infinite character. This not only makes faith interesting, it draws us to faith: we want to see what our God can do. Your hunger begins and it is only satisfied when God makes Himself known personally in your life.
We get tired, needing a break; God never tires. We get sleepy; God's ever awake. We have constant needs which include hunger. God is infinitely self-sustaining, needing nothing from no one else. He controls and handles everything perfectly in His Holy Majesty with complete peace and tranquility. This same God wants to be your All; He wants to take your life to a higher level:
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
God has all power and strength, and He wants to give of them all that you need. We receive His power by putting down our carnal mentality and reaching for God by faith. He is our Supply, giving us power, strengthing us in every way. Though He already knows what and how much you need, He has designed it to where we ask Him, believing you will receive it, and look at what He does! We're going about life the wrong way. We pamper our flesh while God's work goes unnoticed in us. We must give more careful attention to our Divine Source by ALIGNING WITH HIS DESIGN.
This is not insisting that we do nothing. It is insisting that we dare not think we can do only what God can do. In fact, most of us are wearing ourselves out, trying to do too much. Independant of God, we are extremely limited; our strength only goes so far. Even if we could get back the energy and strength we had when we were young, it still wouldn't be enough to get the job done. God wants to give us a higher power, a strength from above. We prove thru our faith how much of his power we can handle.
We must not deny the truth that God designed us to be dependant upon Him- illustrated for instance by our re-occurring hunger for food. But what about your hunger for God? We should recognize our worn-out, weak condition as spiritual hunger pains, yearning for God to fill us with His power! There is a way to acknowledge your absolute dependency upon the Spirit of God within, a pathway which leads to sustaining power and a higher life.
The more we acknowledge our weakness and dependency, the more strength He provides- HE FUELS OUR FAITH! The 'hungrier' He sees us, the more He wants to fill us! But if we continue to ignore Him by always taking matters into our own hands, there's no need to expect anything of a supernatural quality to occur. What you say you want from God will not arrive if you continue to rely upon your ability and strength. All you will do is continue to fall short in your carnal thinking. The greater your appetite to please God, the more faith your soul will provide. This takes it to the next level and it all comes down to faith.
Why worry about if you have enough fuel, when you don't even know where you're going? Once we get headed in the right direction, we can be fully confident God will provide everything we need to arrive at a higher, spiritual level. Those who are doing God's will should never worry about where the supply they need is coming from- it's constantly on it's way.
We've been programmed to worry constantly about how our needs will be met. What God is saying is we shouldn't worry about those things at all. Our concern is doing what He wants us to do. Once we get that lined out, we ask Him to sustain and bless us- AND HE WILL.
This is all about your individual appetite- your hunger. If your heart is in tune with your Father, your desire can bring you to the exact destination God has for you. But you cannot attain it with your own strength, you must have His power. Here's how it arrives to us:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
The burden of delivery is on Him. But don't expect for it to arrive if you are not willing and waiting for Him to bring it. Again, there is a way to acknowledge your absolute dependency upon Him, a pathway which leads to a higher life- "wait upon the LORD." How far do you want to go, how high do you want to fly?- God will give you wings! Just like the wings of an eagle, our faith in God can carry us to a much higher life. God wants to bring you that kind of strength but you must be willing to wait for Him. The strength He brings gives you whatever advantages you need to do His will most effectively.
There's much to be said about contentment; this thing of waiting involves it. Contentment reflects appreciation for and expectation of the arrival of the Supplier. But that doesn't mean God won't give us more or that we shouldn't want more. It means we've sought to be good stewards of what we have, waiting for the opportunity to be stewards on a higher level. It's all common sense. By this we refuse to allow circumstances to dictate what we choose to do in our life and future. Being raised by God results from being content to wait on God.
Waiting on God is not retreating, but holding your ground for re-enforcements. Waiting on Yahweh isn't laying down, but taking time for inner progress and preparation for your new life which will eventually arrive. When God calls you to wait, it's because He wants you to work on some things in your own personal life. We turn our attention inwardly for a duration until the wait is over. Then, once God arrives and raises us up, we rejoin the battle with far more power and resources than ever before.
Is God worth the wait? Absolutely. The strength we can receive from God will not come otherwise, it's by His design. God wants to give you that spouse, that opportunity, that blessing you are wanting. This power gives you renewal and abilities you've never had before. It's not just a meager portion to get you thru a circumstance, but a sustaining power that becomes your constant source of strength. Waiting on Yahweh enriches our soul, where our attention is upon being filled with power and being lifted toward our goal.
WHEN YOU REALIZE YOU'VE DONE ALL YOU CAN DO, DON'T GIVE UP, WAIT ON HIS RENEWAL. We must obey God when He tells us to depend upon Him. Our bodies were intended to be used up to only do what God wants. When this is your way, you will fully depend upon Him alone. As you wait in faith for strength, He will carry you. But you must be convinced He is your Supply.
The clear message here is that our Father, Yahweh God is our unending Supply. When you have negative thoughts of lack just say: "The LORD is my Shepherd, I SHALL NOT WANT"- He is our endless Supply. THE ABILITY TO WAIT TO THE END WILL RESULT IN A MUCH HIGHER LIFE AND LEVEL OF BLESSING.
Do you have a desire to see God do things you've never seen before? Do you desire to see your children equipped to face the days ahead? Just simply wait upon the LORD.
When you've given everything, still all you can do is wait on the outcome. When you wait on Yahweh, expect the best outcome! Currently, most of us are playing by the enemies' rules, neglecting our greatest spiritual advantages. If you have realized you cannot get there on your own, come to Christ and get your wings!
